* Kent below Statistical Neighbours

# Kent above Statistical Neighbours particularly at higher levels, but also with 'average' pupils.

The improvement is especially the case in high achieving pupils in English and Science.

In Maths there is almost no difference in change in achievement of pupils between KS2 and KS3.

This continues to G.C.S.E. and 'A' level.

'Something' must have caused this improvement between KS2 and KS3 and continuation to 'A' level.

Could it be variable selective education with schools offering specialisation for academic aptitude, aptitude in technology or Language or Sport or Music as well as Denominational preference and other varieties of High Schools?
